Day 6

What a feeling, what an experience!

Taylor taking the field before his last game—16 teams left! Go Dragons!!

We started our day with a wake-up call about 6:30...Trey and I showered! I put on my new Cooperstown Ragland tee with maroon colors for Dragons from a local grocery. We headed to the ballpark for our Sweet 16 baseball game at 8:30 vs NorCal from Northern California! It will be a good game! We finish all the games today with the closing ceremony tonight. Let’s do this, Dragons! History is ours!  After losing to NorCal 18-5, we headed to the Cooperstown sign for team pics. We sat around the picnic area and waited for Taylor to pack up and head to the exit. We finallly had him back with us- we had missed him. We went you Mel’s 22 for a yummy lunch- the boys got burgers and Caroline got her GF bun with meat and bacon! I had a yummy Haddock sandwich! We headed back to the hotel and Trey started Taylor’s clothes in the laundry, he then slept for little. I finished the laundry while watching the Women USA soccer team defeat Sweden! We freshened up and went to dinner with Gran and The McGees at Upstate! I had a yummy buffalo chicken wrap-out of this world! Then, we went to the Championship game -(#10 vs #1)....the #10 team won! There were back to back Homerun on the 1st two at bats! We headed home before the game ended! What a fun night. Our Dragons’ organization has been to Cooperstown before but never done this well, we played on the last day and did great- Go Dragons!
