Happy Halloween 2018

We were planning to have the McGee’s over to trick or treat, but Griffin got strep and we had to cancel plans. He was feeling better and we all got to go trick or treating. The weather was less than ideal, but we got out for candy before the big rain! It was a fun H’ween!

Griffin's Flag Fball Team in Championship Game

His team played in the championship game tonight in the cold, wind and rain. They battled so hard. We came up short and lost 32-27. Griffin caught a touchdown in the back of the endzone and an extra point on the goal-line. He had an awesome 10 yard reception and turned up field for a few more yards. He got a couple of flags on defense, too. Here are some pictures of the night.

Happy Birthday Trey

Saturday was Trey's birthday. I got up early and began making breakfast, so the kids could serve him breakfast in bed! We delivered bacon, banana bread and waffles. After breakfast, we headed to Grace for Griffin's 1st round of the Playoffs! His Flag football team entered the playoffs undefeated! Their game was at 11:00 vs ECS and we won 28-13. Griffin caught a super TD in the endzone-it was thrown at his toes and he reached down and grabbed it. He also had 3 beautiful catches for yards and used a spin move after one of his catches! Following his game, we all went for a b'day lunch at Central BBQ. We passed out b'day cookies and finished lunch with a walk-through REI. We left that area and headed to Mike Rose for Caroline's Saturday game in her Adidas Wolf River Classic. Her game started at 3:15 and the weather was beautiful. Her team lost and she had a hard because her grandparents were there to watch.  We headed home to change and then to the Ellis' for dinner-they had steaks for the adults and hamburgers for the kids. It was a fun night and I brought Trey's cake with us to enjoy!
