Day 2 of Games- Nationals

We had a 9:00 game vs the Arkansas Prospects. Taylor got picked up by Coach Hoover at the hotel, and rode with Zander and JP. It was so nice that the whole family didn't have to leave so early! Trey took us by Chick-fil-a for a quick breakfast before heading to the ballgame. We called Gram to wish her a Happy Bday too. The game started out just fine, but we let the Prospects get an early lead. They were hitting very well. I was glad Taylor started at 1st base! Cade was our starting pitcher, then Mason and Landon. We clawed back in the game and we needed one run to tie it up with a runner on 3rd base, but Taylor didn't hit the ball well...it was a dribbler, just like his other at bats. He finished the game with no hits. We lost 8-7.

Game 1 vs Prospects

Warming up 1st base

Game 2 vs Primetime
(This team was undefeated going into our game)

Taylor was the starting pitcher-He pitched a complete game with 5 innings. He had 59 total pitches with 40 strikes and 19 balls. 3 strikeouts and NO WALKS!
(Coach Chris said that was Taylor's best pitching game all season)

Getting HIGH FIVES from coaches during the game

Last at bat with about a 9 run lead makes this silly boy sing into his bat and entertain the crowd

Tigers win 10-2

Great game, Taylor
