Taylor's 7th Homerun at Snowden

Taylor played a great game on Friday to start the weekend at Snowden. We were playing in the June Jam. We played the late game and we all went to cheer him on. The game started at 8:00pm vs the Germantown Giants. The game was back-n-forth, but the game was tied at 7-7 in the top of the 5th inning, when Taylor came up to bat. He hit a Homerun on the second pitch off Blake Stricklin. It was a splash ball and hit the middle of the lake. I did try to retrieve it, but after getting my socks wet, I decided to not go in after the ball. We ended up getting another team ball to add to his collection. The Tigers won the game 8-7 on an "almost walk-off" by Taylor!! In Friday night's game, Taylor led the team wit 3 hits, and 2 RBIs. Then on Saturday, we played at 3:00 vs the Boro Blazers and lost (9-1). Taylor's bat wasn't hot in the Saturday game. We played on Sunday at 9:30am and Taylor started on the mound. He pitched a great 4 innings, but we came up short. On the mound, he had 13 First pitch Strikes and 1 strikeout. Taylor had a great hitting game and grounded out on his 1st at bat, but advanced the runner. Then he hit a line drive up the middle and then his last at bat, went all the way to the fence and almost over. He went 2 for 3.  I was so proud of his playing today!
