Busy Saturday

Each kid had something today! Taylor had his normal Tiger’s practice at Gameday from 9-11. Caroline had her 1st softball practice at the school’s multipurpose room! We practiced bunting and pop flys- practice was from 10-11:30. Once we were all home, we ate a quick lunch.  We left the house at 12:30 for Griffin’s semi-finals game at Madonna! Luke came with Taylor to watch! His basketball team was playing the Flyers. It was a very close game, but Griffin got to start the 1st and 2nd halves! He made the winning in-bounds pass to seal the game! He had some wonderful assists and 4 opportunities at the goal, but two jump shots didn’t fall. Here are some pictures of our fun day! After basketball, we hustled straight to Oxford and arrived at exactly 4:00 game time! Griffin’s Dragons played SI Sluggars.

                         Semi-Finals vs Flyers

(The previous game was Grace Knights vs Wolves)

the Knights lost 9-2...they won’t be in the championship game for the 3rd year, Griffin is playing in his 3rd championship on Tuesday night!  Go Saints!

Enjoying The Snow Before It Melts

We went outside about 4:00 today to build a snowman! After that, we went up to the top of our street and went sledding ! Our neighbor, Mr Balkom loaned us another sled and we were out til about 5:30. A neighbor got his car stuck and Trey helped him at the foot of his driveway— that was the second person to get stuck. A kid got stuck on Tuesday at the top of our street. We helped him too. Here are some pictures of our snowman and sledding adventures!

SnowCation 2021

Today was such a fun day! We waited for Trey to get home from a few hours in the office, then he drove us to GBC! They had a super fun hill that we enjoyed sledding down! We ran to Kroger for a few ‘staycation’ groceries! More Gluten Free Oreos and some hamburger buns for dinner tonight! Caroline had spent the night out on Tuesday night with Claire! Once we got her back home, I had everyone put on their tabogons and heavy coats for a Family Snow picture in front of the house!! They turned out so good. That evening as dark rolled in, Griffin and I took a walk in the snow- there were BIG snowflakes falling and we caught some on our tongues! We finished a fun day with hamburgers and a movie!
