Griffin is playing tackle football for the 1st time. Bcs has a combo team of 3rd and 4th grade boys! He had his 1st practice with helmets and pads this week! Here are some pictures of the fun!

We are so thankful to be returning to school this Fall. After a long extended Spring Break, it was good to be back at Briarcrest! Here are the 1st day school pictures!

Today, the kids descended on campus- it was an exciting day to see all the kiddos. Griffin got to meet his teacher for 3rd grade. I am thankful that Trey could bring Griffin. After meeting his teacher, they went down to the new expansion! Then Griffin went back to Trey’s work for two hours. I waited on the two big kids to get dismissed from their day. All Middle Schoolers went from 8-11:30. I was so excited to see Caroline- her 1st words to me were ‘it was amazing’! I took the big kids home and met Trey there as he dropped off Griffin. The morning went great. I headed back to work and left the kids at home. It was a nice, easy day at work pulling Math for the week. I got home about 3:30- played Hide-n-Seek with the and then prepared dinner.

This wknd Summer came to Memphis to visit Grammie and our family! We enjoyed Pimentos for lunch. We headed to Grammie’s house about 12:30 and I picked up Pimentos to go! We arrived the same time Chip and Summer did! We enjoyed lunch! Trey and Griffin got to the house and joined us after Dragons tryouts! We enjoyed hanging out. Summer came back home with us to spend the night- we stopped at Kroger because the kids asked for a candy run! Trey had gone to the grocery store for the week. We made homemade pizza for dinner. It was yummy. It ended up being a full evening! I went to bed about 10:00...Trey woke me at 11:30 to say Travis had called and Griffin made the Dragons team. The huge and shocking news was that 3 former teammates did not make the 9u team- Cooper Bourgeoise, Breck Griffith and Drake Dering. He also said that Summer and Caroline mentioned Uncle Andrew was moving to Chattanooga, TN.
