We started our trip on Wednesday afternoon about 4:00. We dropped off Oreo at Gram’s and picked up Caroline. We drove in the dark and arrived outside of Louisville about 10:15. We stayed in Indiana- we didn’t know Louisville was close by. We woke Thursday morning and toured the Louisville Slugger museum- it was the coolest tour ever. We learned about the family that has land in PA and the foresters cut their trees from this area for all their bats! We got to see them shave down bats and dip the bats into colors. We learned about where the wood chips go...an Indiana farm for turkey beds and we also learned the difference between Louisville bats with signatures vs just their engraved name on the bat only.
