Quarantine 2020

Here are some pictures of the kids doing online learning! We have been out of school since March 16th. Today is Friday and we have made a one whole week!

Creation Museum and Ark Encounter

We had so much fun on our second adventure! We split these two activities into two-days! On Friday, we went to the Creation Museum! The highlights were the Creation 4D movie, Taylor zip-linning and the Petting Zoo(chickens, sheep and alpacas)!

The next adventure was on Friday morning! We drove to the Ark Encounter! It was neat pulling up on the property and seeing the massive boat! Here are some pictures of the 3 level boat!

Horse Farm-Spring Break Trip

On our last day of our trip, we spent the morning in Lexington, Ky.  We were so excited to take Caroline to the Kentucky Horse Park! We saw many horses, even though it was their off season! The people were super nice that worked on the property! Here are some pictures of our exciting time! We had a great experience and hope to come back soon!

Spring Break 2020

We started our trip on Wednesday afternoon about 4:00. We dropped off Oreo at Gram’s and picked up Caroline. We drove in the dark and arrived outside of Louisville about 10:15. We stayed in Indiana- we didn’t know Louisville was close by. We woke Thursday morning and toured the Louisville Slugger museum- it was the coolest tour ever. We learned about the family that has land in PA and the foresters cut their trees from this area for all their bats! We got to see them shave down bats and dip the bats into colors. We learned about where the wood chips go...an Indiana farm for turkey beds and we also learned the difference between Louisville bats with signatures vs just their engraved name on the bat only.
