Today was a super, big day! Griffin was playing in back to back championship games-1st grade and 2nd grade BCS teams!!! Funny enough, we were a different team, but competing against the same Grace Knights team. We came up short today and lost 32-18, but Griffin played his heart out! He had 16 unbelievable points! He drove to the basket, made free throws and 3 jump shots! Following the game, the director at Grace introduced himself to Griffin and said he loved watching him play because he never gave up. Actually his exact words were as follows: ‘do you know why you are my favorite player to watch!’ The opposing coach took a little time to talk to Griffin too.
