Monday morning is always very exciting-it's Meet The Teacher Day. The kids always look forward to seeing who their teacher will be in school. I always leave ahead of them, and Trey brings the kids in about 8:00. This year was the 1st year, I walked around with the kids-I vacated my teachers. Yikes. I was nervous, but this is a big year for us-Taylor's last year in Elementary and Griffin's SrK year. It was the best thing I ever did. We started with Caroline's class because 3rd grade is at the top of the steps and on the left. We spotted her name on Mrs. Martin's door. She was SO excited and gave her a huge hug. We found her desk and began to organize it and her locker. Wow, its is going to be a wonderful year for Caroline. She was also excited that Abby is in her class. Next, we went down the hall to 5th grade, Taylor saw his name on Mrs. Clarkson's door. He was so excited to have her for 5th grade! He got his shelf organized in his locker and we chatted a bit with Clarkson. She mentioned for us not to worry about the computers and that the kids will figure it out. Taylor has a good class and Bryant is in there with him again. He has some sweet girls in there, too (Sophie Ham, Avery Tillman, Haley Midgett, and a friend from his Kindergarten class-Ben Cates). We made our way down to SrK and we looked on Savage, Grey and then on Wakefield's door! He was thrilled to be in Mrs. Wakefield's class...he voiced it out loud and she said, I am glad you are in here, too! Griffin enjoyed looking around and was tickled that Oliver was in his class-along with some sweet girls-Annabelle Hood and Adalyn McCay. It is going to be a wonderful year for The Brady kids. Dad and I were super excited because we really got blessed with 3 GREAT teachers. Trey took the kids on home and they stopped at Chick-fil-a first. They saw Paige Coreless' mom and she wanted to know how we scored SUCH awesome teachers! Thank you Lord! I finished my day at school and headed home. We began to get ready for the next day-the 1st Day of School! Here's to a wonderful year!
