This was the year of Covid, so many people didn’t trick or treat! We were so excited to get out and enjoy this fun holiday in our neighborhood! The weather was perfect and not cold. We had JD and David join us here with pizza to follow. Caroline was dropped off at Ellen Claire’s. It was a fun night!

This wknd, Griffin’s team played in Tupelo. We had a cold Saturday but went 2-0. Griffin played the Bombers and was the starting pitcher...striking out the 1st two and then the next batter got a hit, but Griffin shocked everyone with his ‘pick off’ move and got him for the 3rd out....easy 3 up. 3 down!
Griffin got a solid hit and made it around the bases! He slid into 3rd base for the 1st time in a real game- super proud mom moment. We won the game and played Swing Check and beat them, too!
We celebrated Trey’s bday at Booyas! Then, he and I enjoyed the evening at Griffin’s practice. After the practice, we sang Happy B’day and enjoyed cake and ice cream. We opened presents too! He got a basting brush and a new grill brush!
We enjoyed a nice Fall break camping at Wall Doxey State Park! The campsite was super nice and we had plenty of room. We pitched our tent and enjoyed nightly campfires! Here are some pictures of the fun. We left Wednesday afternoon and return early Friday morning!
We started on phase 2 of our kitchen. We got the white backsplash about two weeks ago. And, last Tuesday, we had Bartolo and his brother Marcelo begin the cabinets.
