Halloween 2019

We had the best Halloween in a long time. Last year, Griffin had strep so we were happy to be healthy this year. We invited The McGee’s over for Santa Fe soup and hot dogs! We started trick or treating about 7, forklifting a quick dinner. The boys had basketball tryouts til 4:45, so we got a later start. It was a cold night but we had fun walking around with friends. We ran into two of Griffin’s teammates:Dom and Noah. Dom ended up staying with us the rest of the way down street! Dottie also needed a neighborhood to walk around, so she parked in our driveway and caught up with us! We ended up seeing a lot of friends! We ended the night counting candy and making

Caroline’s 5th Grade Color Run

Today, Caroline and all her friends had the color run. It was a few weeks following Boosterthon due to rain. She had the best time and Trey and I both got to watch! Here are some pictures of the fun!

Beach Trip- Day 4

We got invited to join The McGee’s on a pontoon boat that they had rented for the day. We started our Sunday morning heading into Destin. They rented the boat from 9-1. It was so fun. We drove under the big Destin bridge and headed to Crab Island. There were inflatable in the water for the kids to play on. The adults sat around on boogie boards in the water and watched. We returned the boat about 1:15 and Trey and I took the kids for ice cream at Shake’s- a reward for the family pictures. We got back to the condo about 2:30 to regroup, shower and rest. We headed back out for dinner with The McGee’s at Stinky’s Fish Camp at 5. Here are some pictures of our last day at the beach!  That evening, we had dinner with The McGee’s at Stinky’s Fish Camp at 5:00. After dinner, we went back to their condo to grab our buckets and flashlights. We headed out to the beach to crab hunt. It was so fun. We caught many crabs. We left their place at 9:00. We were tired from a full, last day.
