Beach-Putt-Putt Golf and Family Picture

Today, we didn't get in the water at all. We lounged around, updated pictures on the blog, played games and ate lunch. We left the house about 2:30 for putt-putt golf at The Track. It was our family, Summer and Andrew! I got some cute pictures from the fun. We left for dinner at 4:30 and decided on Cosmos. It was a great place in Orange Beach to eat and we sat under their covered patio. The food was outstanding and we all shared appetizers-crab legs, cheese dip and calamari. For dinner, Trey, Griffin and I all ordered fish sandwiches-yummy. After dinner, we hurried to the beach and took a family picture. We ended the day with some crab hunting! Griffin and U. Andrew went on the hunt!

It was hot, but fun!

Beach- The Track

Today, we started the day at the beach about 9:00am. Dad and I went down with the kiddos. We had a great time. We all got in the water today-yesterday C had sunburn, T had chaffing and soreness and Griffin was just not interested. Well, today we tried again and everyone enjoyed the water a little. Trey got C and G in the boat, that helped them ease into it. Taylor tried out his new flippers in the ocean, but later started stinging and had a few sore spots on his chest. He got out of the water and played paddleball with Summer on the beach. Daddy found a huge crab on the beach and it was a highlight!  The kids ran up to the house to show everyone. We came up for lunch about noon and then headed to the Track for go-karts & bumper boats. We headed back to the house before playing Putt-Putt golf because we didn't want to leave for dinner too late.  We decided on Cobalt's for dinner and headed there about 4:30. We sat outside by the marina and it was a nice dinner, but hot. We got home about 7:00 and enjoyed rice-krispies that Caroline had made. We watched the USA soccer team play in the World cup, then we went crab hunting-two nights in a row. Trey caught a huge crab and we had lots of laughs in the dark. It was a full day and we are tired.

Daddy caught this crab today-it was fun to watch him run around chasing it

Beach-Dolphin Cruise

We swam in the ocean very little this day. Dad worked on business stuff this morning and we all laid around the beach house. We decided we needed to get out for a little, so our family left for Mellow Mushroom for lunch. We got back around 3:00 or so. We weren't ready for a full dinner, so I packed sandwiches to take with us on the cruise. It ended up being my family, Summer and Andrew! It was such a worthwhile and fun evening. We arrived at the dolphin cruise about 5:30 and walked around the marina. The deep sea fishing boats were coming in and we watched the fish being cut and prepared. We boarded the flat-bottom boat about 5:45 and departed just at 6:00. Our captain was named Robert and the young girl helping him was named Kaylee. Here are some pictures from the fun evening. The cruise was basically the highlight of the day!
