Taylor's 2nd HR-Championship Sunday

Taylor's team played their 1st game on Sunday at 11:00. We played great and got an early lead, but the Arkansas Prospects crawled back in the game. Our boys closed out the game to get the victory. After the win, Trey and I took Griffin, Caroline and Stella to a new Mexican place-it was so good (Taylor stayed at the park to watch the Tiger 11U). We headed back to the park for the 3:00 game vs the Diamond Dogs. We won that game 4-1 to head into the Championship game vs Tiger Mitchell. Our team started off great and didn't look back. We were up at one point 12-0, then they scored 3 runs. The final score was 13-3. The boys finished empty and played so hard the entire weekend. Here are some picture from today!

Spring Break 2017

We left Saturday morning for Nashville. We got into town and headed to Bridgestone arena and tried to purchase tickets for the SEC Men's basketball tournament. They ended up being too expensive. We landed at Margaretteville for lunch. The streets were busy with fans and while waiting on our table, we walked around downtown Nashville. They had pop-a-shot baskets set up and the kids enjoyed playing. I enjoyed watching the boys play on the Big Screen Tv (it was set up in the street). We enjoyed lunch and then walked around. We headed back to the hotel to swim. That night, we headed to eat at Sportman's Grill. The next day, we went to a Vandy baseball game. Griffin, Caroline and I went to watch "A Dog's Purpose." It was a really good movie. We headed back to get Dad and Taylor at Vandy. That evening, we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory and swam. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Taylor's 1st AAA Tournament-Gameday

Taylor had his 1st AAA baseball tournament and it was in Memphis. He played Friday night at 8:00 vs Memphis Travelers-we lost. I enjoyed putting Caroline and Griffin in the bed early and watching it on Game changer. It was a good game. Saturday morning was busy. Trey and Taylor went to Griffin's coach-pitch practice at 9:00. Caroline and I worked very hard on her book report and completed it before heading to her Basketball party. We enjoyed our End-of-the-Season party at El Mezcal. We had balloons, a b'ball cake and goodies for the girls. I handed out a BCS sticker and a picture frame. The girls gave me a gift card to Charming Charlie's and a precious picture frame in Green and Gold.
Following the party, Trey rushed Caroline to her 1st soccer game-it was played at Bodine. Her team won and she played a great game. She really loves her new coaches, Coach Autumn and Coach Emily. After the game, we swung by the house for a little time, but then headed to the ballpark for Taylor's 3:00 game. Mom came to watch him and so glad she did because Taylor got his 1st HR of the 2017 season. It was so pretty and hit in left field. We won the game 7-3. After the baseball game, Trey and Taylor stayed at the ballpark to watch some games. We all came home. Taylor ended up playing the lastest game of the night-9:00pm. I enjoyed watching it on Game-changer after the kids went to bed.  Taylor played the Germantown Giants and won 18-6. Then on Sunday, he played at 3;00 vs CrossHit. We battled back to tie up the game after being down by two runs, they intentionally walked so the bases were loaded. Taylor was up and we were tied 5-5, he hit the ball over the left fielders head to win the game, 6-5!!! Here is a picture after the BIG win and Taylor's clutch hit.

Caroline's Semi Finals-Basketball

Our team made it into the tournament ranked #2. We would open up with ECS at ECS in the 6:45 game. We started out wonderful and ran Grizzlies to perfection. We just missed the shot, but Caroline got fouled with a no call. The halftime score was 2-2. Then the remaining game was back and forth. We were down by two points and Caroline had under 10 seconds and she dribbled the length of the floor and shot a buzzer shot to send it into OT (11-11). Then, in the OT, both teams only scored 1 bucket to finish 13-13. It went into a 2nd OT and we didn't score. The girls played a tough game and it was a hard loss. Here is Caroline headed to bed after a wonderful buzzer shot! She scored 12 points!
