Move Day-Oct. 31

Move Day is FINALLY here! We are on our way to being Collierville residents! No more long drives! Trey took off to help with the move, but the kids and I went to school that day. I did have to leave school for 2 hours to sign some papers at the lawyers office! That afternoon, we made one last, quick run to the old, empty house before heading to our friend's house for a Halloween celebration. We enjoyed pizza and trick-or-treating. We arrived at our new house about 8:00pm to find we had been "booed" by our new neighbors! The kids thought that was sooo fun. The kids enjoyed watching the movers work hard and bring boxes to their new rooms. After a while, they headed home with my Mother-in-law to spend the night. Trey and I stayed up helping the movers till 11:00 pm, when they finally were finished. We went to the old house to clean since it was all empty. It was a late night, but very exciting and productive. Trey and I spent our first night in the new house on Oct. 31.

Saying BYE to our Neighbor Friends

We have loved our neighborhood and The Turman's are a big part of it. Our kids have grown up together and played many times. Here are some pictures of our visit before moving.

Pictures of the Kids at HPC

I took many pictures of the kids in their rooms, so they could remember the old house in Eads. It was a great house for us for almost 8 years, but we were ready to be closer. Each child was brought home here from the hospital! What memories we made in this house! We'll miss you, HPC.

Daddy's Birthday!

We enjoyed Daddy's birthday and celebrated at J. Alexander's with the family. The kids and I made Daddy a cake. We decorated the cake with "Go Royals" because we were cheering for Kansas City in the World Series. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Taylor's Flag Football Season

Taylor had a great football season. His 2nd grade friends won many games this year! Taylor had 5 Touchdowns and 3 extra points this season. He loves to pull flags on defense, too. We are so proud of Taylor's team. Here are a few pictures from his season.

House Update and Answered Prayer

The Lord answered our prayers by bringing us a contract on our house back in late September. We were so thankful for the contract and began praying everything would work out and they wouldn't change their minds. The days from late September to late October were very busy. Upon getting our contract, we began looking seriously at houses. We basically went on a day search for the right house! It was lots of fun and I was thankful we had gotten to that point! Trey and I placed a contract on a house in Collierville, but kept it from the kids because we weren't sure if everything would go through. Those days were hard but basically in mid-October, we knew things were more concrete. After Caroline's soccer game on Oct. 18th,  we took the kids and introduced them to our new house! Here are some pictures from our visit!
