Taylor's Baseball Summer League

Taylor had the privilege to play on a summer competitive baseball team through the Dizzy Dean baseball network. It was basically half the kids from his GBL (rec-ball) All Star Team playing on a traveling team for the summer. We would have never thought how close the families would become and how much baseball really would be involved. We LOVED every minute of the summer. The season ended with a WORLD SERIES played at Snowden Grove in Southaven.

The below pictures are the only weekend we traveled. We stayed at a hotel in Batesville, MS. He played in his 1st evening game on Friday night-it started later than scheduled, at 10:00...yikes.

My precious boy loves him some baseball- GO #8

Here are the boys after winning a close one on Saturday evening to
earn a spot in the championship game on Sunday!!

On Sunday, the weather moved in and canceled the
championship game-we placed 2nd due to our #2 seeding.

Disney Day 5-Hopper Pass: Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom

We started our day at Animal Kingdom with breakfast at the Tusker house. We enjoyed meeting Safari Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy!

Our 1st ride was The Safari Ride-it was an open air vehicle that takes you on a tour of Africa's savannas. We saw many animals at Kilimanjaro safari park! It was amazing.

Caroline loved seeing the lions

Taylor, Caroline and Mommy rode the Kali River Rapids. I love water rides,
so it was my favorite at the park.

Daddy, Taylor and Caroline were EXTRA brave and rode Expedition Everest. It was a very fast roller coaster that goes backwards. This was Trey's favorite!

We left Animal Kingdom, and headed that afternoon to Magic Kingdom for the Magical Parade!
Enjoying a Mickey ice cream before the parade starts!

A sweet park employee took my kids up Main Street to meet some characters while waiting for the parade to start. We even saw a couple get engaged on Main Street just before the floats began!!!

Our favorite float- Frozen with Elsa and Anna

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

Griffin's all-time favorite memory of the trip--seeing Mickey on his giant float. The two of them waved at each other and blew kisses to one another! Super memorable

We stayed late at the park that day-we rode Peter Pan's Flight at Fantasyland.

We had a snack at Pinocchio Village-two nice employees visited with the kids and brought us free frozen drinks and a Mickey Mouse! The kids loved feeling famous!

We also rode another ALL Time favorite at Fantasyland-It's A Small World
Here is Caroline posing with Mickey before the ride.

Before leaving the park, we saw the most spectacular fire works display, complete with many classic Disney songs at the park!
